HP 14s & HP Pavilion x360 14 laptops with 4G LTE and 10th Gen Intel CPUs launched in India

Recently HP has introduced a new range of laptops as part of their ‘always-connected’ PCs – the HP 14s and HP Pavilion x360 14. These laptops come with built-in 4G LTE support alongside the traditional Wi-Fi support as well, and they feature Intel’s latest 10th Gen Core processors and good battery life as well.

HP 14s (2020) Specs

The new HP 14s features a 14-inch FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) IPS display with 250 nits of brightness, also covers 45% of the NTSC colour gamut along with 78% screen to body ratio. The laptop is very handy and portable as it has a modest weight of 1.53 Kg.

For performance, this new laptop comes with Intel’s 10th Gen Comet Lake CPUs with options of Core i3 and i5 variants. For graphics, there’s the integrated Intel UHD graphics and up to 8GB of DDR4-2666 SDRAM. HP also gives you the option of 1TB 5400RM SATA HDD and 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD storage.

The Intel XMM 7360 4G LTE6 modem provides the 4G LTE connectivity via a dedicated SIM slot in the laptop. The other connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0 support. For ports, we have a USB Type-C port, an HDMI 1.4b, two USB Type-A ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a multi-format SD card reader.

The HP 14s (2020) features the HP True Vision 720p HD webcam along with a digital integrated dual-array microphone. It also has a full-size, island-type keyboard and HP has crammed a three-cell, 41Wh lithium-ion battery into the laptop that promises up to 9 hours of battery life.

HP Pavilion x360 14 (2020) Specs

This is a 2-in-1 laptop with the same 14-inch FHD IPS display along with 82.47% screen to body ratio. The HP Pavilion x360 14 is powered by the more efficient 10th Gen Intel Ice Lake CPUs with Intel Iris Plus graphics, but it has Core i5 option only.

It also features same modem that allows 4G LTE connectivity on it as well, and comes with useful features like Amazon Alexa voice assistant and wake on voice feature. 

The laptop comes with dual speakers, powered by B&O Audio and HP Audio Boost. The laptop is efficient enough to deliver up to 11 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Pricing, Availability & Offers

The HP 14s (2020) base variant with Core i3 CPU with 4GB of RAM carries a price tag of Rs. 44,999 in India while the Core i5 powered variant with 8GB of RAM will cost a whopping Rs. 64,999. Both these variants are available for purchase via all HP World stores and via the HP Online Store as well.

Coming to the HP Pavilion x360 14 (2020), it will be available for Rs. 84,999 from July 1st onwards. With these laptops, Jio will be offering 6 months of free data (1.5GB/Day), along with a 30% discount on all Jio data plans after the 6 months as per the launch offer.
