Napoli are expected to complete a transfer for Tanguy Ndombele from Spurs in the coming days. The midfielder has been frozen out of the squad, and has been put on the transfer list for the summer.

Now, the Italian side are close to wrapping up the deal with Tottenham. The player will be signed on a loan deal for the 22/23 season, and Napoli will have a buy option at the end of the loan spell for €30 million. Both parties have agreed to it, and only the final details remain to be sorted out before the deal is done.

The Azzurri will be paying €1 million as a loan fee, and will be covering the major part of his salary for the year. He will be the replacement for Fabian Ruiz, who is close to joining Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The Spaniard only has one year remaining on his current deal, and is close to making the move to France. Tanguy Ndombele will be taking his place in the line-up, after the arrival of Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa in the summer from Fulham.

Ndombele spent the previous season on loan at his former club, Lyon, and had a decent spell. But, he was unable to get back to the same levels as before. As a result, the most expensive signing in Tottenham’s history is on his way out for a cut-price deal.
