Redmi India has launched its latest iteration of the K-Series smartphone in India, the K50i. The smartphone arrives with top-tier specifications such as an MTK Dimensity 8100 chip and support for 67W Turbo charging. The brand launched a pair of TWS buds as well. Let us take a detailed look at the specs of the device.

The latest offering from Redmi arrives with a 6.6″ FHD+ IPS LCD display panel with a high refresh rate of 144Hz with a 7-stage adaptive refresh rate, support for Dolby Vision, and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass for enhanced protection. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip that has been paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

In terms of optics, the K50i features a triple camera setup on the rear with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, we get a 16MP selfie shooter.

The device is juiced by a 5,080mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The charger is included in the box. Apart from this, we get stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an IR blaster. The K50i comes in three colors namely, quicksilver, blue, and black. It runs on Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top and up to 2 years of system updates and 3 years of security updates.

The smartphone retails for Rs.25,999 for the 6GB RAM+128GB version and Rs.28,999 for the 8GB+256GB version. It will go on sale from the 23rd of July. The brand will be selling the phone thoroughly online and offline mediums. However, if you opt to buy the phone offline, you will get an exclusive offer as you can either avail of an Rs.3000 ICICI bank discount or get a complimentary Xiaomi speaker worth Rs.4,999.
