Xiaomi 12S will launch in China on the 4th of July. The company is anticipated to launch at least three smartphone models in the new 12S series section. These include the 12S, 12S Pro, and the 12S Ultra. The 12S will sit at the bottom of the flagship section while still packing prime apparatus.
Ahead of the official launch, it has confirmed some chief specifications of the vanilla model. The Xiaomi 12S will feature a Sony IMX707 main camera sensor.
The device will feature a triple-camera setup on the backside. It might not come with Leica-tuned cameras, which could be absolute to the 12S Ultra and the 12S Pro.
WHYLAB on Weibo has also disclosed the camera specs of the vanilla model. The device will have a 50MP Sony IMX707 prime camera sensor. The 1/1.28-inch sensor will have an f/1.9 aperture and come with support for optical image stabilization (OIS). The prime camera will also have a 7P lens.
The 12S will also have two more camera sensors. Though, Xiaomi has not disclosed the specifications of the same. We can anticipate these two sensors to provide extremely large and macro/ tele-macro shooting competence.
Some other information was disclosed as well in the poster. The 12S will launch in a Grey color model. It is likely to launch the phone in various colors. The device will also feature a metal frame.
