MSI is releasing the MEG 342C QD-OLED 34-inch gaming monitor, which features a 34-inch UWQHD screen, 175 Hz refresh rate, and 1800R curve. MSI hinted at the forthcoming debut of their gaming monitor line at Computex 2022, which features a 34-inch QD-OLED panel display.

LG just announced the release of their new UltraGear monitor range, which features a 4K Nano IPS panel with realistic color and Advanced True Wide (ATW) Polarizer technology. Samsung’s Quantum Dot material is combined with OLED panel technology to create QD-OLED. Samsung claims that QD-OLED can generate higher color fidelity at lower brightness levels than LG’s existing OLED screens.
The new MSI MEG 342C QD-OLED reinvented the greatest curved gaming display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It has a resolution of up to UWQHD (3440 x 1440) and fits most game titles with a 1800R curvature flawlessly. The pre-calibrated color in the factory stage ensures that color accuracy meets the industrial standard – Delta E 2.
When quantum dots meet OLED panel technology, it meets MSI’s highest color standard – QD Premium Color – and supports MSI True Color technology as well as the exclusive Premium Color Mode. For a realistic gaming experience and everyday casual entertainment, the color accuracy is up to 99.3 percent DCI-P3, 97.8 percent Adobe RGB, and 139.1 percent sRGB.

The MSI MEG 342C QD-OLED display brings in quantum dot technology, which has been gaining traction among PC manufacturers in recent months. The new monitor from the company will also have a 0.1-millisecond reaction time and a dazzling 175Hz refresh rate.
The new monitor’s release date and price have yet to be announced by MSI. It is expected, however, to compete with Dell’s Alienware 34 QD-OLED display. The G-Sync Ultimate display certified Alienware display is presently on sale for $1,299 on Alienware.com.
Samsung will also offer the Odyssey G8QNB, a 34-inch monitor with QD-OLED technology that was initially shown at CES 2022 earlier this year. The pricing and release date for the company’s model is currently unknown.
