Samsung’s profits can increase by a great extent if it begins to manufacture the M2 Chip for Apple

Samsung is one of the front-runners in manufacturing:

Samsung is one of the suppliers for Apple and is currently responsible for producing FC-BGA substrates that are integral for making modern high-density chips with circuit connections.

Now, the Korean brand is looking to get in on the manufacturing of the M2 chip production as well.

The Samsung Electro-Mechanics division is very close to securing a deal with Apple to produce the same FC-BGA substrates for the upcoming M2 chip. This report corroborates the recent information of Samsung investing over a billion dollars in building an FC-BGA production facility in Vietnam and it has invested over $241 million more into an already existing fab in South Korea.
