We have been hearing leaked rumours of the upcoming Surface Book 3 for quite some time now and here we have a complete sheet of the specs of this new laptop lineup. Already we know that the Surface Book 3 will feature Ice Lake processors from Intel, the new retailer listings published by WinFuture show all the specs of it.
So the CPUs powering the new convertibles are in the form of the Intel Core i5-10210U and Core i7-10510U, so no Ice Lake as per this leak, which indeed seems pretty strange. Another thing that is confirmed, is the existence of the 13.5-inch and 15-inch version of the Surface Book 3, the latter will exclusively be using the Intel Core i7-10510U processor.
There are memory options of 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB RAM, although the 8 GB RAM option is only for the 13.5-inch model according to the retailer listing. On the storage front, there are 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB NVMe SSD storage options for both the varinats.
Also there’s the mention of discrete NVIDIA GPUs being part of the Microsoft Surface Book 3’s configuration options, with models specifically featuring Nvidia Quadro GPUs. As per the leaked pricing, the Surface Book 3 has pricing range between €2,000 (approx US$2,186) to around €4,300 (approx US$4,701), soon in the coming weeks we can expect the device to be launched by Microsoft.
