Vivo Y71 : the New Full-View Display Smartphone is Here

Vivo Launches Y71: Their New Mid-Ranged Smartphone with Full View Display & Oreo 8.1

Vivo has always brought spectacular smartphones with way good camera…This year they have brought the V9 that has made most of the guys crazy…

But, Vivo now looks forward to the mid-ranged series to attract more customers. As the IPL 2018 is on, Vivo is looking forward to those customers who are seeking for full-view display smartphones…

The Y71 has quite a lot of impressive features including the camera, display, facial unlock and the software. At Rs 11k the company has quite an interesting offering…

So, let’s discuss more of the smartphone:

Your World in One Hand

The new 18:9 FullView™ Display has super narrow bezels, achieving an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 84.4%. The result? An immersive display that pushes your mobile viewing experience to the limits. Compared with standard 16:9 aspect ratio phones, the 15.21cm (6) Y71 displays 12.5% more content, while still being compact and lightweight enough to carry and operate with one hand.

Beauty Comes in Curves

Lightweight and slim, the Vivo Y71’s body features a slight curve, which sits snugly in your palm. Smoothed by the new high polymer nano-blasting technique, it’s elegant and designed to be touched.

AI Face Beauty

Vivo doesn’t believe in a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to portrait photography. Your Y71 identifies your gender, age, skin tone and texture, and then applies a range of beauty effects while highlighting your natural beauty. Over time, it learns more about your face and photographic habits and adapts to enhance your selfies even further.

13MP Rear Camera

Vivo Y71 has a high definition rear camera with PDAF technology, letting you capture fleeting moments with ease…

HDR

Backlight and bright light pose serious challenges to photographers. The Y71 optimizes lighting for your face, making your features bright and clear.

Smooth User Experience

Open apps instantly with the Y71’s 3GB RAM and powerful Qualcomm processor. You’ll enjoy the seamless performance, whether you’re watching videos or checking social media. To maintain smooth operation over time, your Vivo Y71 smartly performs defragmentation and memory optimization tasks, leaving you free to focus on having fun.

Extended Battery Life

The Y71 boasts a large capacity 3360mAh battery and advanced Android 8.1 OS optimization, making it even more energy efficient. The latest Vivo Smart Engine also provides additional power management, so your longer lasting battery gives you the freedom to stay outside longer.

Face Access

The moment the screen is activated, your Vivo Y71 scans your facial features and unlocks instantly. Think of it less as a phone, and more as an old friend, who recognizes you at a single glance.

Smart Split with Bigger View

Vivo’s Smart Split feature, combined with the 15.21cm (6) 18:9 FullView™ Display, improves your ability to multi-task. You can still watch videos and chat simultaneously, but with a much bigger viewing space. So you enjoy even more impressive video quality, and more space to display your messages.

Verdict:

This smartphone is a nice one but it will face hard competition with Redmi 5, Honor 7X, Honor 9 Lite, Redmi Note 5 Pro…But, with Vivo’s branding, the smartphone will receive decent sales in the market from the mid-ranged smartphone lovers…
