The CAD renders of the upcoming Motorola Moto G 5G (2022) have been released by reputed tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer in partnership with Prepp.in, as per recent reports, it has been revealed that Motorola is working on a new mid-range device codenamed ‘Austin.’
The new leak reveals that the Austin phone will debut on the market as the Moto G 5G (2022) and as per its moniker, it will replace the Snapdragon 750G-powered Moto G 5G from 2021.
The leak reveals that the XT2213 model belongs to the upcoming Moto G 5G (2022), it specifies that the device measures 165.4 x 75.8 x 9.3mm and it has a 6.6″ display.
In terms of the renders, the Moto G 5G (2022) can be seen featuring a hole-punch display with a thick chin. On the rear of the device, the smartphone has a 50MP triple camera unit with the company’s logo.
A mic is found on the top edge, while on the right side features a volume rocker button with a power key that has been integrated with a fingerprint scanner. The Moto G 5G (2022)’s bottom edge has a 3.5mm audio jack, a mic, and a USB Type-C port with a speaker grille. A SIM slot is available on the left side of the device.
From the rumored specs of the Moto G 5G (2022), we can expect a 6.6″ display with an HD+ resolution, it is powered by the MediaTek chipset along with 4GB RAM.
On the rear, we may get to see a 50MP primary shooter, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the device could pack a 13MP selfie shooter. This is all we know for now, but stay tuned as more details emerge!
