Realme is all set to launch the Realme GT Neo3 officially in China on the 22nd of March, just one day away. Similar to all major launches in 2022, the company is also following the ‘drip and feed’ trend of releasing the features of the device just a day before the official launch to build up hype and anticipation for the ‘probably industry-changing device of the year.
As per the latest teaser of the company on Weibo, Senior Exec at Realme, Chase Xu revealed the highlight of the Realme GT Neo3, the camera sensor. The GT Neo3 will feature the flagship Sony IMX766 50MP primary sensor with OIS.
The Sony IMX766 sensor is found on flagship devices like the Xiaomi 12 Series, Vivo X70 Series, Oppo Find X3 Series, and Find X5 Series.
But just integrating flagship hardware will not automatically give the phone amazing photography abilities. This is why Chase has also mentioned that Realme has developed a brand new advanced imaging algorithm for the Realme GT Neo3 that focuses 94% faster than its predecessor, the Realme GT Neo2 had a provision for shutter speeds that were 62% faster.
The GT Neo3 will also have a better night mode which will make it an all-scene photography device irrespective of daylight or nighttime.
The GT Neo3 is an upper mid-range offering from Realme, the GT Neo3 is as good as other flagship devices but besides its camera, the device is also the first-ever device in the industry that will be equipped with 150W wired charging for customers.
Realme claims that this new technology will charge your device from 0 to 50% in just 5 minutes.
Another highlight of the Realme GT Neo3 is the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip which had outperformed the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip in early benchmark tests. The display of the GT Neo3 is also a notable aspect of the smartphone as it comes with a 120Hz flat AMOLED display with a 94.2% screen-to-body ratio, and a 100Hz touch sampling rate for butter smooth performance!
