Redmi K50 series may come with Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 895

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi K50 Series in China quite soon. While the company has not yet confirmed the official release date, the devices could be launched later this month.

A leak from earlier today had shown what the rear of the device could look like, but a newer render actually shows the Redmi K50 Pro or the renders.

Fast Technology Offical on Weibo showcased some cases for the Redmi K50 Pro in orange and purple colorways. The creator of the render has left the devices intact within the cases, this has revealed some of the key details about its design for the first time.

From the leaks, the Redmi K50 Pro will be coming with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor just like the Redmi K40 Series. The K-Series has always been a top performer and it is a balanced and well-rounded design.

The device lacks an under-display fingerprint sensor as Redmi has tried to keep the pricing of the device down.

The leak displays that the Redmi K50 Pro will feature a triple camera setup arranged in a triangular setup. The primary is expected to be a 108MP sensor along with a print on the rear of the case. The setup will have a flash unit below the camera sensors.

It is safe to assume that the vanilla model of the Redmi K50 model will feature a near-identical design, which means that the cases for the Pro model will also be compatible with it.

It is not clear if the case leaks in question are official or concern high-quality third-party accessories.

Models from the Redmi K50 Series are expected to follow a naming scheme similar to the current models. The Redmi K50 will be dubbed as the POCO F4 globally and Xiaomi 12X in India.
