We have been coming across multiple reports of the Realme GT 2 Pro, the most recent being its AnTuTu score. Today we come across another one, a very reliable one as earlier today, Realme founder and CEO Sky Li confirmed that the upcoming flagship will be called the GT 2 Pro.
The device is described as Realme‘s most premium flagship to date and it will be available worldwide.
In related news OnLeaks (via 91Mobiles) provided a first look at the Realme GT 2 Pro. The design is a big deviation from that of the Realme GT and Realme GT Neo2 with a Nexus 6P style camera visor spanning across the top part of the back. It stands out and is definitely a rather futuristic design.
There are three visible camera modules housed in the contraption with two 50MP shooters alongside an 8MP snapper.
It is also said that all three modules will offer GR lenses developed by Ricoh who specialize in reducing ghosting and backlight resistance.
The realme GT 2 Pro also has flat metal sides and is expected to feature Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen1. The phone is also rumored to have a 6.51″ FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, an LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. It will also carry support for 125W UltraDart charging and Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 out-of-the-box.
