Microsoft has released yet another insider build of its latest Windows 11 OS. The build is 22000.132 which now lets its testers check out the updated versions of Calculator, Calendar, Mail and the Snipping Tool. The changes brought to this app has now introduced the OS theme which is dark or light modes and comes with rounded corners.

That’s not just it, but Microsoft has also combined its classic Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps into one program in Windows 11 allowing for a better screen capturing experience. Last week, some leaked images of the Windows 11 appeared online which gave us a glimpse of the visually revamped stock Paint and Photos apps that appears on the Unsplash Windows page. Though these new designs are yet to reach out to Windows Insiders users, they can now test other productivity apps with the latest Windows 11 build.

In its official blog post related to the newly introduced changes, Microsoft notes that Windows 11 will be officially replacing the classic Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps with a single, theme-aware app combining the functionalities of both these classics. The existing shortcut which is the WIN + SHIFT + S will remain the same to launch and feature a new Settings section and for better editing controls for captured images.

Apps such as Mail, Calendar and Calculator has received rounded corners with the new update, and it’s also made official that the Calculator app has been rewritten in C#, with Microsoft looking forward to developers making their contributions to the app on Github.

While these are new changes brought by the latest Windows 11 preview build, Microsoft has also acknowledged various bugs and has also released many fixes to make sure that Windows 11 keeps improving until its final and official release in October 2021.
