Battle Royale Changes in COD Mobile Season 10

Seven years in, Call of Duty: Mobile isn’t slowing down. Season 10 – 7th Anniversary launches at 11 AM AEDT on 12 November (midnight UTC), and it’s big. Verdansk is finally here. Whether you’re a Battle Royale veteran or a casual weekend squad player, this is the season to jump back in.

Verdansk Arrives: A New Era of Battle Royale

The headline act is Verdansk, a massive new map with more than 15 major points of interest, including familiar names like Superstore, Airport, Dam, Downtown, Prison and Stadium. Fans of the original will feel right at home. It also lands in DMZ: Recon, alongside the new Chemist boss and the Prison Highlight Contract.

Gameplay Overhaul Across Both Big Maps

The update reaches beyond one map. Here’s what changes on both:

New third-person animations for a smoother, more natural feel.
Updated movement and airborne controls, with mid-match parachutes replacing wingsuits.
Drag downed teammates while reviving them, a lifesaver in tight fights.
Perks via loadout drops and Buy Stations, giving you more tactical choice.
Scorestreaks renamed Field Assets, now equippable in Loadouts and rarer by design.

The Gulag also makes its return, giving fallen players a second shot.

7th Anniversary Events and Rewards

Operation: Verdansk Convergence asks you to pick one of three factions: Makarov, Task Force 141 or the Observers. Complete objectives to unlock milestone rewards, including the Ghost – Desert Ghost Operator Skin.

In the Store, Means to an End leads with the Mythic Alias – Shattered Effigy Operator Skin. Botanist brings the Mythic Signal 50 – Exobotanica Sniper Rifle Blueprint. Two Ford Racing Draws also feature the Mustang and Raptor.

Ford Racing Event: Easy Free Rewards

About a week after launch, a task-based Ford event begins. Just log in, play matches and get eliminations in any mode to earn 20+ rewards, including the Urban Tracker – Pit Crew operator, the Rallycar – Sports Mode vehicle skin and the DRH – Command Console weapon blueprint.
