Huawei announced on its official Weibo account that it will be launching its newest tablet, the Huawei MatePad 11 on the 6th of July 2021. The brand will be shipping the tablet along with support for their HarmonyOS 2.0.
Earlier in June, Huawei had held the HamonyOS 2.0 press conference in which it also launched a few products and unveiled their brand new MatePad tablets. The new tablets will be equipped with their proprietary OS. The top of the model was the 12.6″ MatePad Pro, Huawei had also teased the arrival of an 11″ tablet along with this as well.
Previous reports had suggested that Huawei would be launching this device on the 6th of July which is now officially confirmed by Huawei.
Huawei however did not include any other details regarding the specifications of the upcoming MatePad 11. All we know so far about the MatePad 11 is that it will launch with an 11″ panel on the front with support for a 120Hz high refresh rate. It will feature 2.5k resolution and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 854 SoC.
Huawei will be launching the MatePad 11 in multiple memory variants. The starting model will feature a 64GB memory, the mid-level storage variant will have room for 128GB of storage and the maximum storage variant will have 256GB of space.
The MatePad 11 will also have a microSD card slot and apart from this will include support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. Huawei is expected to launch the MatePad 11 in four different color variants in China.
