Marvel Comics unveiled the cover for Issue 2 of the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 tie-in prequel comic. It shows Flint Marko, in his giant sandy form, reaching for the web-slinger. It’s the first look at Sandman in this version of the Spider-Man universe.
The four-issue comic bridges the gap between seasons, and Season 2 premieres on January 13, 2027. The catch: nobody knows yet whether Sandman will actually appear in the show or stay exclusive to the comic.

Could Sandman Fight Tom Holland Someday?
Church has said he had a lot of conversations about returning, hinting at a more fulfilling story for the character after he was cured in No Way Home. But a return would probably need a new Spider-Man film from Sony, like Tobey Maguire’s long-rumored Spider-Man 4.
