Hakimi

Achraf Hakimi is all set to join Paris Saint-Germain now that the transfer has been given the ‘here we go’ signal by renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano. The French club is set to pay a net fee worth €70 million for the wing-back, and the deal is set to be confirmed imminently.

Inter Milan desperately needed to raise funds this summer after they hit a financial problem this summer. Player sales were necessary considering the dire financial state of the club, and the funds raised by the sale of Hakimi will be used to stabilize the situation at the club.

Paris Saint-Germain will pay Inter €60 million up front, and then €10 million in add-ons if certain conditions are met. The player has agreed a contract until June 2026, and only wanted the transfer to the French capital above all.

Chelsea were among the other clubs interested in his signature this summer, but they only made contact with his agent and held talks. They did not make an official bid for him, and Hakimi wanted the move to PSG over Chelsea in the first place.

PSG have already signed Gini Wijnaldum on a free transfer, and have also reached a total agreement with former Milan goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma for a free transfer. Hakimi is set to be the second player from the city to be recruited, and the transfer will be officially announced shortly.
