After a 4-Year Wait, Jung Yong Hwa and Hong Seung Hee’s Shelved Drama Finally Gets a Release Date

Some dramas take a while to find their moment — but four years is a wait even devoted fans didn’t expect. “It’s You, Regardless” (literal title), starring CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and actress Hong Seung Hee, has finally locked in a premiere date, ending years of uncertainty over where the finished project would even air.

A Drama That Was Ready Long Before It Was Seen

The series actually wrapped filming back in the first half of 2022, but stayed shelved for more than four years simply because no broadcaster had picked it up. That changed on September 9, when it was confirmed the drama would air on cable channel Lifetime — finally giving fans a concrete date to look forward to.

What Jung Yong Hwa Drama Is About

“It’s You, Regardless” follows an unconventional romance between a male actor carrying a fatal flaw and a mysterious woman convinced she’s the female lead of a drama — a premise blending meta storytelling with an unpredictable love story.

In the meantime, Jung Yong Hwa’s music career with CNBLUE continues to draw fans eager to see him back in a leading drama role.
