Wingardium Leviosa Meets Switch 2: LEGO Harry Potter Collection Is Coming Home

Some magic never gets old — it just finds a new console to live on. That’s exactly what’s happening this October, as Hogwarts’ most beloved brick-built adventure gets ready for its next-gen debut.

LEGO Harry Potter: The Announcement That Has Potter Fans Buzzing

Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, and the LEGO Group revealed during the Back to Hogwarts 2026 showcase that the fan-favorite LEGO Harry Potter Collection is officially landing on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16, 2026. Pre-orders are live right now, and both physical and digital editions will be available — with the physical version packing both games onto a single key card.

This isn’t a stripped-down port either. The collection bundles LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Years 5-7, plus every previously released DLC pack, into one complete magical package.

What’s Inside the Collection

Years 1-4 covers the first four films — from Sorcerer’s Stone through Goblet of Fire — letting players relive Harry’s earliest Hogwarts days with the series’ signature humor and charm. Years 5-7 picks up the story through Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, and both parts of Deathly Hallows, building toward the final showdown with Voldemort.

Bonus content includes a Character Pack with fan favorites like Godric Gryffindor, Luna Lovegood, and Salazar Slytherin, plus a Spell Pack featuring five extra spells to master along the way.

Why This Release Matters

The original LEGO Harry Potter games remain among the best-selling entries in TT Games’ catalog, and bringing the full collection to Switch 2 means a whole new generation — plus longtime fans upgrading their consoles — can experience the wizarding world in glorious next-gen detail, whether docked or on the go.
