Six years after the last high-stakes hand was dealt, “Tazza 4: The Song of Beelzebub” is back — and this time, the game isn’t confined to Korea. New character stills have just revealed an international cast bringing fresh tension to one of Korean cinema’s most iconic gambling franchises.’

The Setup

The film follows Jang Tae Young (Byun Yo Han), a man who thought he had it all after building a thriving online casino empire — until his best friend Park Tae Young (Roh Jae Won) tears it away from him. When fate throws them back together in the world of global gambling, their reunion turns into a revenge-fueled showdown with everything on the line.

Tazza 4: The International Cast

Actor	Character	Role in the Story
Hong Dao	Chairwoman Thao	Vietnamese business tycoon who treats every major decision like a game
Tsuyoshi Ihara	Chairman Sasaki	Former yakuza turned Japanese corporate head; calm exterior, high-stakes gambler underneath
Stephanie Lee	Linda Park	Sharp lobbyist connecting Tae Young to Vietnam’s elite gambling circles

Behind the Characters

Hong Dao, a veteran of Vietnamese cinema, described landing the role as a genuine honor, especially since she’d never played cards before. She learned the rules from scratch and practiced handling poker chips so extensively that even her family grew used to the sound of shuffling around the house.

Tsuyoshi Ihara took his own deep dive, watching all three previous “Tazza” films before committing to the role. Since he’s mostly played gentler characters in recent years, he pushed himself to nail Sasaki’s intimidating presence — even sending the director practice footage of details like slicking back his hair to get the look just right.

Stephanie Lee rounds out the trio as Linda Park, a lobbyist whose charm and business instincts are set to add yet another layer of complexity to Tae Young’s high-stakes world.

Why This Global Expansion Matters

Taking the action across Vietnam, Japan, and South Korea gives “Tazza 4” a scope the earlier films didn’t have, tapping into the same high-tension world of competitive gambling that made the franchise a cultural touchstone in the first place — just with higher stakes and a much bigger map.
