Beyond the DLSS 4.5 headline news, NVIDIA used its Gamescom 2026 keynote to unveil a wave of monitor partnerships, cloud gaming upgrades, and classic-game remasters — rounding out one of its busiest Gamescom showings yet.

World’s First 5K G-SYNC Pulsar Monitor

NVIDIA's Gamescom 2026 Haul: 5K Monitors, RTX Remix Mods

AGON by AOC unveiled the AGP327KG, a 31.5-inch, 5120×2880 display running natively at 144Hz — the first 5K monitor to carry NVIDIA’s G-SYNC Pulsar technology. Where earlier Pulsar displays topped out at 27 inches and 1440p, this model pairs the same variable frequency backlight pulsing (which sharpens motion clarity to feel like a much higher refresh rate) with a larger, sharper panel for more immersive gaming. G-SYNC Pulsar Controls Land in the NVIDIA App

Owners of existing G-SYNC Pulsar monitors previously had to adjust settings through each display’s on-screen menu. That’s changing — Pulsar controls are now available directly through the NVIDIA app’s Early Access beta, with a full release following in September.

RTX Remix Brings Two Classic Games Back With Path Tracing

NVIDIA’s community modding platform RTX Remix got two big updates: a new Painkiller RTX mod release, and the reveal of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind RTX, a fan-made path-traced overhaul of the 2002 classic. Both mods now support DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction and Multi Frame Generation, letting modders apply NVIDIA’s latest image quality tech to decades-old titles. Full technical details on all these announcements are available via NVIDIA’s official GeForce news page.

Why This Matters

Between record-breaking monitor refresh rates, a genuinely expanded cloud gaming footprint, and classic titles getting modern path-traced makeovers, NVIDIA is showing its RTX ecosystem is growing on every front simultaneously — not just chasing bigger benchmark numbers on new GPUs. Keep following our PC gaming coverage section as more of these products roll out through the rest of 2026.
