Monster Adds Ronit Roy, Seema Biswas as Salman Khan-Nayanthara Film Eyes Eid 2027

Salman Khan and Nayanthara’s action entertainer Monster just got bigger. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film has roped in veteran actors Ronit Roy and Seema Biswas, further strengthening an already stacked ensemble cast as shooting continues in Mumbai.

What We Know About the New Additions

A source told Pinkvilla that both actors have “interesting and important parts” in the film. Ronit Roy is set to play a positive, larger-than-life character with a strong narrative presence, while Seema Biswas’ role is being kept deliberately under wraps, with the makers reportedly planning surprises around her part.

An Action-Heavy Ensemble Film

Monster will see Salman Khan in what’s being described as a “never-seen-before action avatar,” with Nayanthara also taking on a key action role. The makers are said to be designing the scale specifically to present Salman in a different light — something the actor is reportedly excited about, according to the source.

With the Mumbai schedule progressing on plan and an overseas leg lined up for October, the makers are sticking to their Eid 2027 release window, a timing choice that continues Bollywood’s long tradition of tentpole releases around major festivals — a pattern often tied to Eid al-Fitr in South Asian cinema markets.
