The team continues searching for a way home while their universe-hopping equipment remains damaged, with Stuart shown in a different light as the group presses on trying to fix the multiverse. This follows a wild episode 3, where the gang explored a realm ruled by magicians and science-free zones — Bernadette regained her abilities using Stuart’s blood only to turn into a giant demon, while Bert learned to wield magic and became a key ally.

The Full Release Schedule

The series premiered July 23, 2026, and releases new episodes weekly on Thursdays, with the ten-episode season wrapping up on September 24, 2026. Following episode 4 on August 13, episode 5 arrives August 20, episode 6 on August 27, and episode 7 on September 3.

About the Show

Stuart Fails to Save the Universe is a direct sequel to The Big Bang Theory and the franchise’s fourth series overall, following the original sitcom, Young Sheldon, and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. Kevin Sussman reprises his role as comic book store owner Stuart Bloom, who accidentally breaks a multiverse-triggering device left behind by Sheldon and Leonard and must now restore reality alongside Denise, Bert, and Kripke.

Co-creator Bill Prady explained the show picks up years after the original series in an alternate universe, framing the mission as fixing “the wrong world”. HBO Max hasn’t yet confirmed a second season.
