Ji Sung and Moon So Ri’s Rivalry Takes a Curious Turn in “The Apartment Job”

Just when things were settling down, “The Apartment Job” has thrown fans a mystery worth talking about. Ji Sung and Moon So Ri are set to cross paths again in the drama’s next episode, and this time, she’s showing up at his office with something wrapped in newspaper — and no explanation yet.

What “The Apartment Job” Is All About

JTBC’s “The Apartment Job” follows Park Hae Kang (Ji Sung), a former gang boss who runs for president of his apartment complex’s resident council with one goal in mind — getting access to the building’s hidden reserve fund. What starts as a selfish scheme slowly turns into something bigger, as he ends up teaming up with fellow residents to dig out corruption running through the complex.

The Episode 5 Preview

After his gang past was exposed and nearly cost him the election, Park Hae Kang managed to turn things around with an unexpected assist from Jang Sook Jin (Moon So Ri). Now, in Episode 5, he’s stepping into his first day as the newly elected council president — complete with a celebratory flower garland — when Jang Sook Jin walks in carrying a mysterious wrapped item.

The stills don’t reveal what’s inside, but the moment is clearly building toward something important for their evolving dynamic. The two have spent much of the series as rivals, so this visit — paired with recent hints of them working together — has fans wondering whether their relationship is shifting into genuine alliance territory.
