Kim Hye Joon Trades Fear For Firepower In “A Shop For Killers 2”

Season 1 was about survival. Season 2 is about taking control. New stills of Kim Hye Joon from “A Shop for Killers 2” have just dropped, and they show a completely different Jeong Ji An — sharper, tougher, and finally fighting on her own terms.

A Shop For Killers 2: From Scared Survivor To Fearless CEO

Based on Kang Ji Young’s novel “The Killer’s Shopping List,” the action drama follows Jeong Ji An (Kim Hye Joon), who inherits a secret, deadly legacy after her uncle Jeong Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook) suddenly dies while running his mysterious “shopping mall.” Season 1 saw her thrown into chaos, forced to survive threats she barely understood.

Season 2 flips the script. Jin Man is alive again, and together the two team up to take down the global crime network Babylon. This time, Ji An isn’t hiding — she’s running the mall herself, using the survival instincts she earned the hard way.

Why This Season Feels Different

The biggest shift is Ji An herself. She’s no longer someone who needs protecting — she’s the one calling the shots, mixing high-stakes gunfights with hand-to-hand combat while carrying real emotional weight underneath the action. It’s a rare combo of physical intensity and layered character work, and it’s exactly why fans are hyped for this comeback.

While counting down to July 22, fans can also catch a first look at Kim Hye Joon’s upcoming rom-com “My Bias, My Boss” for a total tonal 180.
