Some posters just tell you a story before the first episode even airs. That’s exactly what’s happening with “Love on the Menu,” the upcoming family-romance drama starring Ha Seok Jin and Hani (EXID). In the newly released teaser image, Ha Seok Jin gently holds Hani’s fingers while gazing at her with quiet affection — while she stares straight ahead, lost in her own thoughts. That one contrast says everything about a love story built on old wounds and second chances.

What’s the Drama About?

The story follows Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) and Han Gyu Rim (Hani), former lovers reuniting eight years after a painful breakup. As they reconnect, they slowly piece their broken families back together — one warm, shared meal at a time.

The production team says the drama aims to portray healing through food and family, showing “conflicts and reconciliation between generations” rather than a simple romance.

Why the Poster Is Winning Hearts Already

The flowers layered across the image aren’t random — fleabane and forget-me-nots hint at longing and memory, setting a lyrical, bittersweet mood before a single scene airs. It’s a small but smart storytelling choice that’s already got fans talking online.

While you wait for July 25, catch Ha Seok Jin in “To My Beloved Thief” and Hani in “Hit the Spot” to get familiar with their range before this new chemistry unfolds.
