Plastic Beauty Official Teaser, Release Date, Plot details: Everything We Know About the Thrilling Netflix Show

Get the latest updates on Netflix’s upcoming series Plastic Beauty, including the release date, plot details, and what to expect from this intense medical thriller, which starts streaming on September 17, only on Netflix.

Why Everyone Is Talking About Netflix’s Plastic Beauty

The chase for perfection comes with a devastating price. Netflix Philippines has officially dropped the chilling teaser for Plastic Beauty, a provocative medical thriller that pulls back the curtain on the obsessive, high-stakes world of cosmetic surgery.

The Dangerous Price of Perfection in Plastic Beauty

The teaser opens with a hauntingly poetic premise: recovery time is compared to a chrysalis breaking free from its cocoon to become a butterfly. But as the scalpels glide and bandages are applied, that beautiful metaphor quickly warps into a psychological nightmare. In this world, ideal faces are treated as commercial products, and the line between an actual medical procedure and pure fraud begins to completely blur.

“In this world, everyone is sick in some way,” a voice warns in the teaser. The series tracks the dark friction between ambitious cosmetic surgeons and patients desperate to shed their old lives—even if it means deleting their past identities entirely. The tension explodes when a doctor pushes back, refusing to operate on people who are not physically sick, prompting a chilling reality check about the underlying mental health crisis driving the industry.
