“Love In Sync” Highlight Video Teases the Most Emotionally Tangled K-Drama of the Summer

Just days before its premiere, “Love in Sync” has dropped a highlight video, and it’s already clear this isn’t your average rom-com. The upcoming K-drama pairs Kim Myung Soo and Kang Min Ah in a story that mixes celebrity drama, emotional vulnerability, and a genuinely fresh supernatural twist.

What “Love in Sync” Is Actually About

At its core, the drama follows Yoo Ji An (Kang Min Ah), a top star who struggles to express empathy, and Cha Eun Hwan (Kim Myung Soo), a respected psychologist who feels almost too much of it. A strange supernatural event links the two, causing them to start experiencing each other’s emotions — and forcing them both to grow in ways neither expected.

The Story Behind the Highlight Video

The newly released clip dives into just how complicated Yoo Ji An’s life has become. Despite her polished public image, she’s constantly criticized on set for seeming emotionally distant, and things spiral further when an online exposé paints her as difficult to work with. Right as her career teeters on the edge, she crosses paths with Cha Eun Hwan, a counselor known for helping actors sharpen their performances — and everything shifts from there.

Their emotional connection deepens fast. Cha Eun Hwan is stunned when Yoo Ji An seems to sense his private thoughts, and she in turn is left shaken realizing just how deeply their feelings now overlap. Adding more tension to the mix is Han Yi Jin (Kwon So Hyun), a former idol-turned-actress with long-buried resentment toward Yoo Ji An from their group days — a rivalry that clearly isn’t done boiling over.

As danger and pressure close in on Yoo Ji An, Cha Eun Hwan steps in to protect her, pulling them even closer emotionally. But complications pile up: his sister warns the pairing spells trouble, and Yoo Ji An’s mother confronts him directly, hinting at secrets still waiting to surface.

By the video’s end, Yoo Ji An asks Cha Eun Hwan to step into a more personal role in her life, while he continues wrestling with feelings he isn’t ready to admit out loud — setting up plenty of emotional payoff once the series begins.
