Redmi, a sub-brand of Chinese electronics giants Xiaomi, has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market in a bid to attract more customers. This new smartphone is the fourth addition to the Redmi Note 10 series. Here we discuss the specifications and features of this new smartphone.
Redmi Note 10S flaunts a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen. This display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Redmi Note 10S is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 mobile processor and runs on MIUI 12.5 out of the box. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
In terms of optics, the smartphone features a quad-camera module at the back. This includes a 64 MP wide-angle primary camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. For selfies and video chats, it offers a 13 MP selfie snapper. The camera setup is capable of shooting up to 4K 30fps video on the back.
Talking about the battery, the smartphone draws energy from a powerful 5,000 mAh battery cell and is paired with a 33W fast charging support. There’s also a 33W fast charger in the box. It also comes with IP53 certification and dual stereo speakers.
The device is offered in three colours in India: Blue, Grey, and White. The sale will start at Amazon India and Xiaomi stores from 18th May. It is available in two different models. The 6 GB + 64 GB device is priced at Rs 14,999 and the 6 GB +128 GB variant comes at Rs 15,999.
