Samsung Galaxy M42 5G will be the company’s first mid-range 5G smartphone and will launch in India. The phone will launch in India on April 28 via Amazon. The smartphone will have a quad-rear camera setup at the back and will feature the Snapdragon 750G processor.
Earlier we had hinted at this launch and had also mentioned that it will be priced between Rs.20,000 and Rs.25,000 in India. This seems too good to be true as the company now can compete with other smartphone brands in the mid-range 5G category.
Famous tipster Debayan Roy who goes by the name Gadgetsdata on Twitter claims that the phone will launch in India with a price lesser than the Galaxy M51 or even the Galaxy F62. According to the tipster, the starting price of the phone will be around Rs.21,999 or Rs.22,999.
The landing page in Amazon shows some key features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M42 5G. It is shown that the phone will feature the most popular mid-range Snapdragon 750G chipset. The landing page also reveals some advanced safety features integrated with the device and the Samsung Pay. Other specifications of this device have not been revealed yet.
