The Numbers Tell a Great Story

Rabb Da Radio 3 has emerged as a HIT, collecting ₹22 crore approximately worldwide in its first week. The domestic and overseas split stands at ₹7.25 crore and ₹14.50 crore (USD 1.56 million) respectively.

Rabb Da Radio 3: A Franchise That Bounced Back

The first Rabb Da Radio film, released in 2017 and also Tarsem Jassar’s debut, emerged as a HIT. The second film in 2019 turned out to be an AVERAGE affair. Now the third film has recaptured that winning form.

Rabb Da Radio 3 also delivered the highest opening weekend of 2026 in Punjabi cinema, dethroning Bambukat 2, which had accumulated only ₹2.10 crore in its first three days.

As Wikipedia’s overview of Punjabi cinema highlights, the industry has consistently relied on family-centric storytelling and franchise loyalty to drive audiences — and Rabb Da Radio 3 is a textbook example of that formula working.
