Dhurandhar: The Revenge Creates History — Bollywood’s First Ever Rs. 800 Crore Nett Film Is Here!

Ranveer Singh has done it. Dhurandhar: The Revenge has just rewritten Indian box office history by becoming the first Bollywood film ever to cross the Rs. 800 crore nett mark at the domestic box office — and it did so in just 13 days. Let that sink in for a moment.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge- The Numbers That Made History

The Aditya Dhar directorial has netted over Rs. 812 crore in India, with the Hindi version alone contributing Rs. 766.50 crore nett. The South Indian dubbed versions — released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam — added another Rs. 45.50 crore, a version advantage that its predecessor did not have.

The original Dhurandhar came agonisingly close to this milestone, finishing its entire theatrical run at around Rs. 789.50 crore nett across 100+ days. The sequel smashed that figure before completing its second week.

What Makes This Even More Special

This is not just a box office number — it represents a seismic shift in what Bollywood is capable of. For years, the Rs. 800 crore nett barrier in the domestic market felt like an unreachable ceiling for Hindi films, especially with South Indian productions dominating the pan-India space. Dhurandhar: The Revenge didn’t just break through it — it redefined what a Bollywood blockbuster can look like in 2026.

With its current trajectory, the film is well on course to cross Rs. 1,000 crore nett in India before its theatrical run concludes. That would be a genuinely unprecedented achievement for a Hindi-language production.
