What RM Said That Moved Everyone

Appearing alongside V on Moon Sang Hoon’s YouTube show BDNS, RM opened up about BTS’s unaffected bond and what has made it possible for all seven members to stay together for 14 years without anyone leaving. His answer was simple but deeply moving — the members are genuinely kind and considerate toward each other, and they all share an unshakeable desire to convey something meaningful to their ARMY.

That shared purpose — performing for their fans — has been the invisible thread holding the group together through military service, solo careers, and everything in between. It’s the kind of bond that can’t be manufactured. It just has to be lived.

The LA Reunion That Made ARIRANG Possible

For the creation of ARIRANG, the members flew to LA and lived together again after seven years apart. RM described the experience as truly remarkable — noting that while seven men under one roof could have been uncomfortable, especially after already living with around 20 people during their military service, going through it together again was actually really great.

The members followed a structured routine of working out, having lunch, writing songs in the studio, reuniting for dinner, and then having late-night conversations — ultimately working through 100 songs, with 14 making the final cut for ARIRANG.

Imagine that creative intensity — 100 songs, 7 men, one shared dream. That’s not just a comeback album. That’s a statement.

Why This Matters Beyond the Music

BTS has defied virtually every industry expectation — debuting from a small agency, conquering global charts, completing mandatory military service as a group, and returning stronger than ever. What RM described isn’t just a feel-good story for fans. It’s a genuine lesson in loyalty, shared purpose, and what happens when talented people genuinely care about each other.
