The good news? They were upfront about it, and there’s a firm end time.

What’s Actually Happening During Maintenance?

During the maintenance window, players can expect the inability to access Ultimate Team, matchmaking disabled across online modes, and possible login or connectivity issues.

This isn’t just EA flipping a switch for fun. These maintenance tasks are typically used to improve server stability, deploy updates, fix or remove bugs, and ensure a smoother gameplay experience going forward. In other words, what feels like an inconvenience today is usually the reason the servers run better tomorrow. Anyone who remembers the chaotic launch weeks of past FIFA titles will understand why routine maintenance is actually something to appreciate.

When Will EA FC 26 Servers Be Back?

If there are no delays, the servers will be back online by 9:00 UTC on March 18, 2026. That translates to 2:30 PM IST — so Indian players who woke up to dead servers should be back on the pitch by early afternoon.

One caveat worth noting: it may take a little while for all services to stabilise after the maintenance ends — especially for the high-traffic Ultimate Team mode. If you’re trying to jump in immediately after the window closes and matchmaking feels sluggish, give it 15–20 minutes before assuming something is still wrong.

What Can You Do Right Now?

While you wait, it’s actually the perfect time to dig into offline modes. Career Mode — whether managing a lower-league club up the divisions or guiding a superstar through their peak years — is completely unaffected by server maintenance. Squad Battles in FUT also tend to work in limited offline capacity, so your daily grind doesn’t have to stop entirely.
