What Is Sold Out on You About?
Netflix describes the show as a dreamy rom-com filled with constant bickering between Matthew Lee — a farmer juggling multiple jobs — and Dam Ye-jin, a famous show host plagued by severe insomnia, with their lives colliding day and night in unexpected and hilarious ways.
It’s the classic unlikely-pair formula, but the day-meets-night dynamic and the wildly different worlds these two characters inhabit gives it a fresh comic energy. Think chaotic chemistry with just enough emotional depth to keep you hooked past midnight.
The Cast That Makes It Click
Ahn Hyo Seop — beloved by Netflix audiences for his lead roles in Business Proposal and Dr. Romantic — takes on the role of Matthew Lee. His easy screen charm is a perfect fit for a loveable underdog juggling farm life with unexpected romance.
Chae Won Bin, known for Sweet Home Seasons 2 and 3, plays Dam Ye-jin, the insomniac show host at the centre of the story. It’s a compelling contrast — a TV personality who can’t sleep, crashing headfirst into a man who probably falls asleep the moment his head hits the hay.
Kim Bum, best known for Ghost Doctor and Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938, plays Eric Seo whats-on-netflix — adding a third layer to what promises to be a layered, entertaining dynamic.
The Korean drama genre on Netflix has consistently delivered global hits in recent years, and Sold Out on You has all the ingredients to join that conversation.
