What Makes the Phone (4a) Stand Out
At this price, the camera system is the real headline. The Phone (4a) packs a triple 50MP setup — a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP 3.5x telephoto with up to 70x Ultra Zoom, and a Sony ultra-wide sensor. Add a 32MP front camera and the TrueLens Engine 4 computational photography system for Ultra XDR and AI-enhanced shots, and this is genuinely one of the best-spec’d camera phones under ₹35,000.
The 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display at 120Hz with Gorilla Glass 7i is clean and bright, and the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 handles everyday tasks and gaming without breaking a sweat. Battery life shouldn’t be a concern either — the 5400mAh cell with 50W fast charging is a serious endurance spec for the segment.
Then there’s the design. Nothing’s signature transparent aesthetic is back in four colours — Black, White, Blue, and Pink — and the new Glyph Bar is a refined take on the lighting interface, doubling as a notification light and a fill light for photography. It runs Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16, bringing AI tools and deeper personalisation to the experience.
The Phone (4a) Pro ups the ante with its own camera and display improvements, available in Black, Silver, and Pink — worth the extra spend if you’re serious about photography.
