Prabhas Meets Eko Director Dinjith Ayyathan: Is a Dream South Indian Collaboration Brewing?

The South Indian film industry just dropped a social media bombshell, and fans are losing their minds over it. Dinjith Ayyathan, the celebrated director behind the critically acclaimed Malayalam thriller Eko, recently shared a photo from a cozy dinner with none other than Prabhas — and the internet has been buzzing ever since.

So, is the Rebel Star finally teaming up with one of Malayalam cinema’s freshest, most exciting voices? Let’s break it all down.

What Exactly Happened?

Dinjith took to social media to share that he had a wonderful evening with Prabhas, filled with conversations, laughter, and apparently some very good prawn biryani. He also thanked Vijay and Hombale Films for making the evening possible. That last detail — Hombale Films — is what’s really setting fans’ imaginations on fire. The production house, known for the Kannada blockbuster KGF, has been expanding its pan-India ambitions aggressively.

No official project has been announced, but the combination of Prabhas + Dinjith Ayyathan + Hombale Films is the kind of creative pairing that doesn’t happen over just biryani.

Who Is Dinjith Ayyathan?

Dinjith has built a reputation for layered, gripping storytelling. Having already caught the attention of Dhanush — who is also reportedly keen to collaborate — the filmmaker is clearly on every top star’s radar right now.
