Netflix has decided to take you for a trip to the land of Ravka. The OTT platform just has released a full trailer of the upcoming Netflix adaptation, Shadow and Bone. The story of this film is an adaptation of the Grishaverse fantasy novel of Leigh Bardugo.
This movie’s plot is a set of the war-torn world where, according to Netflix, the lowly soldier and orphan Alina Starkov just has acquired an extraordinary and extreme power that could become the main weapon to setting her country free. Shadow Fold looming has given some monstrous threat to Alina that she becomes torn from everything she knows for the training as part of an elite army of the magical soldiers known as Grisha.
In this film, we will also see the love, respect, and sacrifice of Alina to her motherland. She is facing many struggles to hone her power, she understands that the allies and enemies can be united and the same and that seems nothing in this lavish world like this. There are some terrible forces of play that are included with a group of charismatic criminals, and the only magic is not enough to survive in this situation, it will need more than that.
This latest Netflix film belongs to a very different kind of fantasy world that Bardugo has explained in January. He also was exposed that the think imperial Russia, not Medieval England who was repeating rifles instead of broadswords.
It is basically a tale of some overconfidence of people who had been told before that how much they did not matter in proving how much they do. It is very incredible that how perfectly the story of the film would take shape on such a broad scale, the battles, the magic, also with the relationships among the characters.
It is confirmed that this upcoming Netflix movie has eight-episode which is a combined adaptation of Bardugo’s Shadow and Bone trilogy, with this the two Six of Crows novels that are incorporating characters from the two of the famous franchises.
It has been informed that this new film is going to premiere on 23rd April, Friday.
