Tabaahi Song from Toxic: Why Vishal Mishra Says Yash & Kiara Advani’s Chemistry!

If you’ve listened to Tabaahi from the upcoming film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups and felt something hit differently — you’re not imagining it. The man behind the music, singer-songwriter Vishal Mishra, has opened up about what made this track so emotionally charged, and it comes down to two words: Yash and Kiara.

Tabaahi – Song & Film

What Vishal Mishra Said About Creating Tabaahi

In an exclusive chat, Vishal Mishra described his vision for Tabaahi as capturing love’s most raw and honest form — not polished, not safe, but deeply real. He wanted the music to feel both grand and immediate at the same time, perfectly mirroring the world of Toxic.

But what truly elevated the track, according to Mishra, was Yash himself. The composer was effusive in his praise, highlighting how the actor’s on-screen conviction lifts everything around him. Add Kiara Advani into the mix, and the chemistry between the two brought the song to life in a way that actively inspired Mishra while he was still creating it. That’s a rare thing — an actor’s energy shaping music in real time.

The song itself speaks of a love so all-consuming it destroys everything else in its wake. A fitting theme for a gangster drama set in crime-ridden 1940s and 1970s Goa.

Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups

Toxic boasts a stacked cast alongside Yash and Kiara — including Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Akshay Oberoi. Directed by Geethu Mohandas, the film is one of the most anticipated releases of early 2026.

With a March 19 release date, it goes head-to-head with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 — setting up one of the year’s most exciting box office face-offs. For more on the biggest upcoming Indian film releases and box office battles, check out TechnoSports Entertainment.
