OnePlus Ace 6T China Launch Confirmed: Could Be OnePlus 15R

OnePlus Ace 6T has been officially confirmed for launch in China in November, marking it as the world’s first smartphone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Pre-orders are already live on Oppo China’s online store, with strong speculation that this performance flagship will debut globally as the OnePlus 15R.

First Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Smartphone Arrives This Month

OnePlus President Louis Lee announced on Weibo that the Ace 6T will launch this November, positioning it as a gaming-focused powerhouse. The company has been deeply involved in developing the new chipset, factory-installing it with the next-generation Wind Chaser gaming kernel for optimized performance.

OnePlus Ace 6T: Expected Specifications

Gaming Beast With Massive Battery

The Ace 6T will feature a 165Hz screen offering 165fps gaming capability, setting new standards for mobile gaming experiences. OnePlus China head Louis Jie hinted at a battery capacity exceeding 8,000mAh, an unusually large figure that promises exceptional endurance for gaming sessions and media consumption.

The device follows OnePlus’ signature design language with a camera module similar to the OnePlus 15, featuring a square-shaped design in the top-left corner. The metal frame construction ensures durability while maintaining premium aesthetics.

OnePlus 15R Global Launch Expected Soon

During the recent OnePlus 15 global launch event, the company teased the OnePlus 15R’s arrival later this year. Industry watchers are debating whether the Ace 6T or the already-launched Ace 6 will become the 15R for international markets.

Pricing is expected to remain competitive, potentially positioned below the Ace 6’s launch price due to strong market competition. The OnePlus 13R launched at ₹42,999 in India, suggesting the 15R could fall within the ₹40,000-₹45,000 bracket.

What Makes This Launch Special

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 represents a significant leap forward, utilizing Qualcomm’s Oryon CPU architecture. This positions the Ace 6T as a performance-focused device delivering flagship-level power without premium pricing, perfectly aligning with OnePlus’ brand philosophy.

For Indian consumers eager for the next performance flagship, the official Ace 6T announcement should clarify whether it or the Ace 6 becomes the OnePlus 15R—a decision that will significantly impact specifications and pricing for the global variant.
