The Shocking Test Screening Results

During a recent appearance on the “Toon’d In” podcast, Alan Tudyk reflected on his career and revealed that there’s a reason why not many people know he played Sonny in the 2004 sci-fi action film. The revelation centers around unexpected test screening results that showed audiences connecting more with Tudyk’s robot character than Smith’s leading man role.

What Made Sonny So Compelling?

Sonny was a modified newer model of the NS-5 series and the tritagonist of the 2004 film, created by Alfred Lanning and becoming an ally of Susan Calvin and Del Spooner.
