Signal app trending on Twitter after WhatsApp's dangerous Privacy Policy

If you have a smartphone then the first communication that you definitely install is WhatsApp, the messaging platform which has revolutionized the way we communicate with each other. But having bought by Facebook back in 2014, we all knew the free messaging platform will one day be used for Facebook’s own business.

You cannot sell anyone’s privacy, well, Zuckerberg doesn’t feel the same way as it turned Facebook into a business platform, so it will do with the insanely popular WhatsApp now in 2021. When you accept its new Privacy Policy, Facebook will have access to your IP address, location data, OS, battery level, phone model, signal strength, ISP, time zone, mobile network, browser, IMEI, and language.

If this is not enough for you to know and Facebook to extract out of you, WhatsApp’s sensitive information like profile photo, status, last time you were online, messages, calls, group activity, etc., all will be included as the information you are sharing. This kind of privacy policy is ridiculous and the whole world seems to be raging against Facebook.

If you are in love with your privacy then you should definitely look for an alternative app as by February 8 you will have only one option if you don’t want to share your data with the parent company, then simply uninstall the app. Though we have a curated top 10 WhatsApp alternatives list for you, people have asked the wealthiest man right now Elon Musk about this.

The Tesla CEO has suggested users to switch to Signal app which is also private messaging service that features end-to-end encryption. You can do an HD video call or audio call with the privacy-preserving feature, which is always enabled. The service is totally free and highly secured.

After this, Twitter has literally burst on this topic as Signal app is trending in India:

Obviously, these new rules laid by Facebook on WhatsApp is a serious issue as your privacy is not secured, so it is good to see more and more people are tweeting about this and acting on this serious matter. What’s your thought on this? Tell us in the comments down below…👏
