7 Hollywood & OTT Releases This Week (Sept 7–13): Your Binge List Is Sorted

Just when you thought your watchlist couldn’t get any longer, this week rolls in with a genuinely stacked lineup — a vertigo-inducing survival thriller, a French dramedy comeback, and a workplace comedy that’s basically office politics on steroids. Whether you’re a theatre-hopper or a couch-and-remote loyalist, here’s everything dropping between September 7 and 13, minus the fluff.

This Hollywood Week’s Full Release Line-Up

Hollywood Take on Each Release

1. Fall 2: Deadpoint — Jax, still grieving her sister Hunter, climbs Mount Kwan with her sister’s old friend to find closure. A brutal rockslide strands them 5,000 feet up, and what follows is pure white-knuckle survival cinema from the Spierig Brothers, starring Harriet Slater and Grace Caroline Currey.

2. Last Seen — Eleven years after his daughter Maggie vanished, dispatcher Ian Ridley gets a call from a teenager he’s convinced is her. Patrick Brammall anchors this slow-burn mystery about a father who simply refuses to give up.

3. Crew Girl — A teen sports drama set in the high-pressure world of competitive rowing, following young athletes navigating rivalry, friendship, and the grind of chasing a championship spot.

4. Call My Agent! The Movie — Five years post-ASK agency shutdown, Andréa Martel is finally directing her first film — until her lead actor bails days before the shoot. Camille Cottin leads the old gang back together for one last chaotic rescue mission, in the film adaptation of the beloved French series.

5. The Paper Season 2 — Domhnall Gleeson returns as the Toledo Truth Teller navigates its post-award glow, HR chaos, and an increasingly complicated Ned-Mare romance. From the creators of The Office, so expect the same brand of cringe-comfort.

6. The Perfect Lie — Karen’s family moves to the picture-perfect town of Bergen and gets sucked into an elite “Dinner Club.” When a fire kills a member and exposes cracks in the group’s flawless facade, Karen digs into a web of betrayal that no one saw coming.

7. Go Team! — A cheese company’s team-building retreat spirals into full-blown chaos when employees discover mass layoffs are coming. Dark corporate comedy meets survival instinct — think The Office meets Lord of the Flies.
