2024 Maruti Dzire Launching on November 11: A Fresh Look and Segment-First Features to Challenge Rivals

The new Dzire comes with an all-new design that differentiates it from the older model with a hatchback skin from the Swift. The front houses a new grille, sharply designed LED headlamps integrated with turn indicators, and new fog lamps. At the rear, it gets a new tail lamp design along with a set of new alloy wheels, chrome accents on the tailgate, body-colored door handles, and a shark fin antenna.

The 2024 Dzire will likely feature a dual-tone black and beige theme for the interior, with fabric upholstery in lower trims and leatherette in the higher variants. It will feature a bigger 9-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, an analog instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch MID, automatic climate control, and a multi-function steering wheel. Additional features could include wireless charging, push-button start/stop, smart key access, rear AC vents, and multiple USB type-A and type-C ports for rear passengers. Importantly, the Dzire will come with a segment-first single-pane sunroof.

The Dzire will continue to be powered by the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 82 hp and 112 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. It may also be launched in a CNG variant in due course of time. Safety will be prioritized in the new Dzire, and it will come equipped with as many as six airbags, rear parking sensors, an electronic stability program (ESP), and a rearview camera with a hill hold assist. Other equipment relating to safety may also include ISOFIX child seat mounts, ABS with EBD, and a 360-degree camera.

The new Dzire which gets a host of new features including a few segment-first features is likely to cost a little more than the outgoing model which isn’t priced ₹6.57-9.38 lakh (ex-showroom). Anticipated pricing starts at ₹6.50 lakh, reaching up to ₹10.50 lakh for top-spec variants. Bookings for the 2024 Dzire are expected to open soon, with deliveries commencing post-launch. The new Dzire aims to attract a wide range of buyers with its refreshed look and feature-rich offerings in the sub-4 meter sedan segment.
