Maruti Suzuki introduced the Nexa Black Edition earlier this month. This resulted in the Grand Vitara, Ignis, Ciaz, XL6, and Baleno being available in attractive Black colour and accessories. Maruti Suzuki has now introduced Arena vehicles. Black Edition will be available for the Brezza, Ertiga, Swift, Dzire, Alto K10, Celerio, WagonR, and even the S-Presso. The use of black on these vehicles creates an entirely new look. The Maruti Suzuki Arena Black Edition is available as an optional extra.

Interestingly, the Alto 800 does not receive this new feature because it is nearing the end of its life. Beginning with Maruti’s most affordable vehicles, the Alto K10, S-Presso, and WagonR, the company is offering an Xtra Edition Pack.

This package includes front and rear skid plates, wheel arch cladding and body moulding, a door visor, orange ORVMs, mats, a steering cover, a spoiler, an interior styling kit, an air inflator, a trunk organiser, and a lot more. The Xtra Edition Pack on the Alto K10 does not include the same accessories as the Ertiga or Brezza. The accessories available vary depending on the vehicle.

Maruti Suzuki offers the Swift Edition Package, which includes side moulding, door visors, seat covers, cushion, carpet, spoiler, and a few other extras.

The main cost contributors are the complete body kit and seat covers, bringing the total package cost to Rs. 24,990. Dzire receives nearly identical add-ons as Swift, minus the complete body kit, and adds chrome elements and an interior styling kit, bringing the total to Rs. 23,990.

Finally, the Brezza has the most extensive list of options and costs Rs. 35,990. It is the priciest of the bunch. We get a front splitter, rear diffuser, front and rear bumper extenders, window frame kit, wheel arch, body moulding, 3D mat, illuminated sill guard, ISK dashboard, illuminated logo, trunk organiser, and more for our money.

These packages are being offered by Maruti Suzuki to commemorate 40 years of mobility. Special Editions like these are a driving force in pushing sales because the customer receives extra features that make it more valuable. Tata Motors has been doing this for a while. This appears to be a new formula for increasing sales.
