Netflix‘s new geeked week segments surprisingly unveil the third season trailer of Locke & Key. The popular supernatural thriller was planned for a three-season series, so the remaining episodes are set to provide a satisfying conclusion to the story.
Netflix declared the third season along with the announcement while Meredith Averill also had been signed on such an entire deal having the streamer back in December 2020. It is roughly 11 months since season 2 premiered in November 2021.
Locke & Key (Season 2): Netflix Performance
It is reported that in the first four weeks the series had picked up 143.04 million hours watched on Netflix globally. In comparison, it is literally a quarter of Stranger Things (Season 2) that got 427.44 million hours in a similar period. The season 3 trailer just reveals there are more obstacles arriving through the breaches of Kayhouse. There are one of the biggest threats is the course, Fredrick Gideon who is a British captain was possessed by a demon and can be resurrected by the keys. We will also get to know how Kinsey Locke deals with the Angel Key that provided her the wings at the end of the second season.
The trailer also depicts such an extreme challenge for the Locke sibling. The main question is they will be able to retrieve all the keys which in theory belong to them? It’s confirmed that they have to give hard combat to lock away all that they have to fight and even get a visit from some deadly ghosts in the entire process.

Locke & Key (Season 3): Release Date
Netflix, at last, confirms the release date of the last and final season, which is 10th August 2022.
It was confirmed back in November 2021 as part of Netflix’s “Get Geeked” campaign that was listed Locke & Key season 3 amongst other “genre” shows scheduled for 2022 and containing Alice in Borderland, The Witcher: Blood Origin, the Midnight Club, and The Sandman.
Currently, Joe Hill has revealed that there will be a ” much shorter wait” for the third season.
The current estimate indicates that the absolute earliest that we will see Locke & Key season 3 will be in March but with Netflix that is just like having for marketing prep. We are now currently predicting to see season 3 of Locke & Key set to come on Netflix in Q2 2022.
