“Firestarter”:  The Blumhouse Remake reveals Zac Efron in the trailer set to Release on Peacock

The trailer of the remake of Stephen King’s ‘Firestarter’ featuring Zac Efron is set to debut in the official trailer and also has been declared a day and dare premiere on Peacock.

It just shows Armstrong’s Charlie who is taking the bad guys with fire like her parents trying to save her. Efron says in the trailer, “ She just has to shove it down and keep it hidden,” he also added, “ Our responsibility is to protect her. If they catch her, they’re gonna put her in a cage. They’re gonna run tests on her for the rest of her life. We will never see her again.”

It reveals Charlie playing the role of a young girl who can generate pyro kinetic superpowers and also has been captured by the government agency who also wishes to use the gift as a weapon.

Firestarter: Plot


The story of the film is based on King’s 1980 novel and also about the 1984 original film.  It seems that the Firestarter novel is mainly telling the story of a young family on the run from the US government attempting to capture them and also understand better the superhuman mental abilities they just developed after exposing such an experimental chemical. It seems that Universal and Bloomhouse’s latest adaptation of that book is just like to hit on many of the same notes just found the source material and also in Mark L. Lester’s 1984 film.

It also just revolves around haggard psychic father Andy McGee who has the ability to influence the mind of the people appears to be reworking s telekinesis and along with the daughter Charlie who is a gifted telekinetic has the superpowers absolute eclipse her parents. It contains such a handful of shots of Charlie’s mother Vicky just before Andy is forced to just flee along with the child in type and also bout to do everything as he tries to keep her away from those who just want to harness the abilities with their own purposes.

Now it will reveal how the people from the present-day logically Charlie as a burgeoning superhero type just rather than like a strange little girl who has the flame into the existence with her mind. There is the scale of Charlie’s power just one more important thing about the story of the novel.

This new film is featuring Ryan Kiera Armstrong as Charlie, Sydney Lemmon as the mother of Charlie, Jac Efron as her father. It also features Michael Greyeyes, Gloria Reuben, Kurtwood Smith, and John Beasley. It seems that Keith Thomas directed the screenplay adapted by writer  Scott Teems. “ This film is produced by Universal Road Productions.

It is reported that the late Martha De Laurentis served as an associated producer on 1984 movies. The executive produces the remake along with the producers Jason  Blum and Akiva Goldsman who have been teamed up previously on the “Paranormal Activity” franchise. The main film featured Drew Barrymore, Martin Sheen, and George C. Scott.
