It’s been over a year since NVIDIA unveiled their latest ultra-low-end graphics chip to the world. Today, photographs of the new NVIDIA GeForce GT 1010 graphics card emerged on Twitter, giving us our first actual look at it.

HXL’s photographs on Twitter show the graphics card with some distinguishing elements, such as the missing NVIDIA logo and changes. According to the latest photos, this is not an NVIDIA reference model, but rather a modified Lenovo design that adapts to Lenovo’s OEM cooling technologies.

The GeForce GT 1010 graphics cards pictured appear to have the same display connectivity as the GT 1030 graphics cards, including analog VGA and HDMI ports. MEGAsizeGPU, a Twitter account, posted photographs of the Leadtek GT 1010 graphics card with two HDMI ports, as well as the first GPU-Z and 3DMark data benchmarks.

The GeForce 1010 is based on the same designs as the GeForce 10 series (Pascal), however, it uses the GP108 chipset. The GT 1010 is the successor to the GT 710, featuring 256 CUDA cores, a base frequency of 1228 MHz, and a boost clock of 1468 MHz. The graphics card also comes with 2 GB of GDDR5 VRAM and a 64-bit bus interface. The new card has a 30W TDP and does not require any extra power connectors. The GT 1010 also has a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface, which is the same as the RX 6500 XT.

After more than a year of waiting, NVIDIA plans to deliver the card in 2022, as we reported earlier this month. In terms of performance, the GeForce GT 1010 is around 35% slower in the Geekbench benchmark than the flagship GeForce GTX 3090, and over 3000 percent slower overall. Despite its apparent performance, the card is inferior to integrated Iris Xe GPUs, which scored around 13,000-14,000 points in the same benchmark tests.

The Lenovo GT1010 2GB GDDR5 HDMI VGA desktop computer graphics card (5V10W62717 SV11B65869) comes with the following features:

  • Process: 14nm
  • Architecture: Pascal
  • Core: GP108
  • CUDA cores: 256
  • Frequency: 1228/1468 MHz
  • Bit: 64-bit
  • Power consumption: 30 W
  • Interface: HDMI+VGA

The Lenovo GT 1010 is currently available for 450 RMB (about $70) on the Taobao online marketplace.
