Today’s IPL 2021 fixture will be between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. This match will take place at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi at 7:30 pm IST. Speaking about this game it is highly unlikely that both sides will make any changes for this fixtures.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB sealed their entry into the playoffs as they defeated Punjab Kings on Sunday. Bangalore will have little to worry as they enter this contest with most of their players performing well. As a result, they will try to grab the top two spot in order to be in a better position during the playoffs.
SRH is going through a terrible phase and they will try to look past their horrors as they step in to face RCB today. Their main issue of Hyderabd has been their erratic batting order. They have tried several combinations which have not worked. The only positive for SRH in the UAE leg is the emergence of fast bowler Umran Malik. Hence it will be interesting to watch how he performs against a star studded RCB batting lineup.
Prediction for the IPL 2021 Match between RCB and SRH
Riding on Maxwell’s form, the Bangalore side look very solid. Moreover, their death bowling has improved a lot in comparison to previous editions. As a result, they are expected to dominate and win this contest against an out of form Sunrisers Hyderabad side.
Fantasy XI for this IPL 2021 Match
Glenn Maxwell 10 Cr Captain
Glenn Maxwell will be my captain for today’s fixture. Owing to the fact that the Australian all-rounder has been exceptional with the bat in this phase. Furthermore, his powerplay bowling has been beneficial which could come in play against the inexperienced middle order of Hyderabad.
Harshal Patel 9.5 Cr
The current purple cap holder has delivered some mind-blowing performances for RCB this season. His ability to bowl uncanny slower balls in the death could give him great returns this evening.
Yuzvendra Chahal 9 Cr
Chahal was brilliant against Punjab as his three crucial wickets in the middle overs helped RCB secure an impressive win at Sharjah. The leg spinner has regained his form and is looking great on these UAE pitches. As a result, one can expect him to change the course of the game with his bowling against Hyderabad.
Jason Holder 9.5 Cr (Vice Captain)
Jason Holder has picked up five wickets in the last two games and is arguably the best player for Hyderabad this season. The West Indian has been instrumental for SRH and his involvement could be the deciding factor in today’s fixture. As a result, I have chosen Holder as the vice captain in my fantasy XI team.
Devdutt Paddikal 9.5 Cr
Paddikal has helped RCB get good starts this season. And one can expect him to do the same against a bowling attack that has not picked up many wickets during powerplay.
AB De Villiers 9.5 Cr
ABD looked good in the last game as he played a quick cameo that helped Bangalore cross 160. The South African batsman has bailed out RCB several times and if the top three are unable to score big then he will be crucial today.
Abdul Samad 8 Cr
Abdul Samad has become a mainstay in this Hyderabad lineup this season. The All-rounder has added some valuable runs which has helped Hyderabad during this phase of the tournament.
Wriddhiman Saha 8.5 Cr
Saha has not scored at a high strike rate this season. But the wicket keeper batsman has played some good innings that have helped Hyderabad reach a respectable total. Opening the innings, Saha’s run scoring will be a great boost for fantasy league players.
Shahbaz Ahmed 8 Cr
Shabaz Ahmed has chipped in with wickets since making his return in the lineup this season. In addition to that, the all rounder’s pinch-hitting ability at the latter half of the innings make him a great budget player.
Rashid Khan 9.5 Cr
Along with Holder, Rashid has bowled extremely well during this UAE phase. Despite not being able to pick many wickets, the leg spinners has stopped the run flow in the middle overs. So one can expect him to trouble the Rcb middle order and reduce the run flow today.
Mohammed Siraj 8.5 Cr
Siraj could create a big impact at the start of the innings. The fast bowler’s ability to swing the new ball can reap dividends which could help RCB create a lot of pressure upfront.
