The Japanese multinational corporation, Sharp, was supposed to hold an event tomorrow. This event was going to see the launch of its latest flagship phone, the Sharp AQUOS R6.
However, the latest update tells that the event has been postponed. The information has been passed on from the Japanese manufacturer’s official Twitter account. Surprisingly, Sharp didn’t give any reason why the launch was postponed. Also, a date for launch at a later date is not revealed. Though they did say in another tweet that it will announce a new date once it has been decided.
We have had the early look at this device yesterday only. The AQUOS R6 is the successor to the AQUOS R5G. The cameras of the device have been built with Leica. This same company uses to work along with Huawei as well. The smartphone has a curved edge display with a centrally aligned selfie camera cutout. We can spot the camera but are unaware of its specifications. By the looks, it seems to have a thick body.
With Gorilla Glass protection and a QHD+ resolution, the AQUOS R6 is supposed to have a high refresh rate and a high refresh rate. Also, as it is the latest mobile processor, we can think of this to be powered with a Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The previously launched AQUOS R5G flaunts a 6.5-inch IGZO Quad HD+ display and was powered by Snapdragon 865 mobile processor. Now as its arrival is delayed, we have to wait for the company to launch the next date so that we can track it again.
